Une étude de phase III a montré l’intérêt du panitumumab en association avec la chimiothérapie FOLFIRI chez les patients atteints de cancer colorectal métastatique n’ayant pas de mutation du gène Kras.
Les effets secondaires cutanés surviennent chez 89% des patients, dont 12% sévères. Des protocoles récents permettent de diminuer très nettement ces complications cutanées.
